Ways you can connect with the Earth.

During this time it may seem more difficult to connect with nature, but there are still many ways to connect and honor this beautiful planet we get to call home. Whether you can go outside, or are limited to staying indoors, we hope you find alignment with some of these ideas or feel inspired to create new ways to be connected.

  • Spend time being barefoot - feel the Earth supporting you

  • Sit outside and listen to nature

  • Remove meat from your diet at least one or two days per week

  • Create an herb garden - nurture it with love along the way

  • Find a tree to sit with and give gratitude in each breath

  • Drink a warm cup of natural herbal tea

  • Watch a nature centered film or series - learn something new!

  • Listen to recordings of nature - rain, birds, the ocean

  • Sit by the window and appreciate the sky, the clouds, the sun, the stars, the moon

  • Water your plants - give them love

  • Bring your own reusable shopping and produce bags to markets, and avoid using single-use plastic bags

  • Bring your own reusable coffee cup when going out to get beverages

  • Bring a reusable container to a restaurant with you when you expect to have leftovers

  • Start a conversation with the Earth by writing a letter of gratitude

  • Write a poem about the Natural World

  • Quiet the mind and practice an Earth-centered meditation

  • Learn about the memory of water

  • Take the Pesticide Pledge

  • Shift your perspective on the way we are here in partnership with the Natural World

  • Be open to learning more

  • Lean into Love
